We understand and effectively manage the risks associated with prohibited substances. Testing for prohibited substances is carried out by regulators at forensic levels in urine and plasma, at a sensitivity equivalent to the detection of 1 teaspoon of substance in an Olympic-sized swimming pool.

CERTIFIED MANUFACTURING

Most premix houses handle medicines and prohibited substances. At Premier Nutrition we take the responsibilities to our customers regarding prohibited substances very seriously. Uniquely, all our products destined for equine feed are made in facilities that do not handle medicines. In addition, our supply chain is rigorously assessed for risk of contamination with prohibited substances, backed up by an extensive testing program. As part of our commitment, we are proud to be one of only three premix companies to be certified to the international industry scheme the BETA NOPS® Code for reducing the risk of common feed contaminants.
