TOTAL BALANCE provides added calcium to the complete dry cow ration to improve pre and post-calving calcium status. This not only helps to reduce the risk of milk fever, but it boosts the activity of the immune system, improves muscle tone of the uterus, rumen and teat canal, and reduces the risk of retained foetal membranes (RFMs).
TOTAL BALANCE should be used on farms where post-calving intakes and performance is critical and RFMs are an issue. It can be used on farms who currently use a mineralised blend and/or dry cow minerals in the dry cow ration, farms using mixed forages and dry cow concentrates or farms with straw-based rations.

TOTAL BALANCE is suitable for pre-calving dairy cows and heifers. It is supplied as 6mm pellets ready for top dressing or mixing in a TMR.
